The  Level  2  EV  AC  control  board  is  specifically  designed  for  controlling  and

monitoring  the  charging  of  electric  vehicles  on  a  three-phase  AC  power  grid,

compliant with level 2 charging as SAE J1772 standards.

The EV AC control board is a power supply device that utilizes advanced

professional technology to deliver electricity to electric vehicles. It employs

embedded  control  technology  with  a  multitasking  real-time  operating  system,

ensuring  secure  encryption  and  robust  functionality.  Featuring  a  user-friendly

human-machine interface, it enables intelligent charging control, home load

balancing,  remote  firmware  upgrades  for  chargers,  and  more.  The  charger  can

connect to a backend server to support functions such as scheduling and payment.

The mobile app supports multiple communication methods, including wired

Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 4G, and Bluetooth.

Compliant with the OCPP1.6-J standard, it is suitable for AC EV charging stations. It

enables seamless OCPP cloud platform control and management, supports

adaptive matching for various charging stations, and provides core OCPP

functionalities, including smart charging. Additional features include OCPP offline

whitelist, OCPP scheduling, and remote firmware upgrades.

 

The Control Pilot (CP) signal performs the following functions:

• Detection of protective earth (PE) connection

• Vehicle status detection: Not connected, connected, ready for charging, ventilation required, fault

• Transmission of charging controller status: Ready, not ready, fault

• Specification of maximum available charging current via PWM signal

• Detection of diode short-circuit in the vehicle's control pilot circuit

• Wake-up function for vehicle sleep mode via CP

• CP anomaly detection

• Monitors input voltage and measures charging current, supports power and energy calculation, and integrates RS485 for external MID

   meter metering

• Integrated charging relay compliant with IEC 61851-1 and IEC 62955:2018, with relay adhesion detection

• Temperature monitoring of the connector socket and electronic lock engagement

• Integrated 15W auxiliary power supply

• Plug capacity (PP) detection, supports NACS plug VCC power supply

• Supports 4.3/5/7-inch displays/touchscreens and ISO 14443A/B RFID card readers

• Configurable maximum charging current: 16A, 20A, 32A, 40A, 48A, 63A, 80A

• Supports DLB, CT, and RS-485 external meters (Modbus), including PV CT detection

• AC PLC, supports ISO 15118-2/ISO 15118-20 (under development), and PNC/V2G/V2H (under development)

• Supports Wi-Fi/BLE, 4G/Ethernet, OCPP1.6J/OCPP2.0 (under development), and web-based configuration

• Supports local firmware upgrades via SD card and logo customization

• Supports leakage current detection (Type A + DC 6mA)

• Provides over/under-voltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, short-circuit, and leakage protection
